Lake View Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school offering a flex-based learning model that serves students in TK through 12th grade across Glenn, Butte, Colusa, Lake, Mendocino, and Tehama Counties.

Guided by state standards, our independent study program empowers students to explore concepts in innovative ways. We provide the resources and support needed to craft a personalized learning experience tailored to your student’s needs. Our credentialed teaching staff works closely with both students and parents to develop a learning plan that fosters curiosity, creativity, and success.

The mission of Lake View Charter School is to provide a flexible personalized learning experience to help students become proficient at the California Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and California Content Standards, including Next Generation Science Standards for their grade level and empowering families to tailor a program designed around the specific needs of each student. In collaboration with well qualified credentialed teachers, students engage in diverse and dynamic learning pathways and unparalleled enrichment opportunities to achieve personal and academic success.
