DIG creates learning opportunities with a focus on celebrating diversity, amplifying marginalized voices, and fostering inclusivity. Through every experience, we aim to help students and families grow in empathy and understanding, building a stronger, more connected community.

Catch Us in Action

DIG is all about building strong connections within our community through fun, educational experiences. We create opportunities for creativity and expression, like our annual Poetry Slam contest, which celebrates diverse voices and fosters imagination. We also take part in school-wide events, such as hosting an interactive booth at this year’s Health-A-Palooza, where students had the chance to explore and identify spices from around the world. These hands-on activities not only allow students to learn about different cultures, but also promote curiosity, inclusion, and understanding within our community.

Learn & Grow with DIG

We're here to give you the tools and resources to enrich your teaching and help foster an inclusive, culturally sensitive learning environment. To support you in this, we’ve created a variety of resources—including pre-made lessons, local event guides, and more—available to enrolled families on The Bridge. Our monthly Lunch and Learn sessions provide opportunities to dive deeper into meaningful discussions and expand your understanding of diverse perspectives. Designed for both students and parents, these resources help create engaging and thoughtful learning experiences. Additionally, we highlight select Adventure Academy classes, Field Trips, and Clubs with the DIG Seal, ensuring they reflect diverse and inclusive viewpoints to help you integrate these important lessons into your homeschool routine.
